Sneak Peek: Module 3 of The Creative Guitarist
This video sneak peak at Module 3 of The Creative Guitarist comes just after Module 2. I'd been discussing and analyzing the main backing track studied in the course. (See the second blog post in this series for more about an amazing free backing tracks tool.)
I had just finished the third and final practice video for the course. And instead of doing a fourth practice video, I decided to include the actual solo that I entered into the main competition discussed in the course. (seen below).
So for Module 3 of the course—known as "Skill Level Assessment & Enhancement"—I get started in showing you how I set up that solo and what you should look for in writing your creative guitar solos.
In Module 3 of The Creative Guitarist, you'll learn how to get in the proper mindset, how to properly set up your guitar (more on this in tomorrow's post), some practice ideas, and more concepts to help you learn how to increase your guitar playing skills.

Utilizing Backing Tracks for Writing Your Creative Guitar Solos
This first part of the "Incubate" video shows a behind-the-scenes look at the backing track I used to write my own creative guitar solo for an upcoming online guitar contest.
In this section of the "Incubate" video, I'll demonstrate how to use a great tool for accessing backing tracks as well as for practicing and learning scales, modes, and general fretboard visualization.
