New customers, please read this very important note...
The Secrets of Texas Blues Guitar begins with a brief introduction of the course, the gear I've used and recommend for achieving that famous Texas Blues tone, and the first—and perhaps most important—scale most legendary players use to achieve that signature Texas Blues style: the Minor Pentatonic scale.
Here's where we'll begin your scale training. Did you know there are right ways and wrong ways to practice scales? In this video, I'll show you some tried and true techniques for making the most of your practice.
We continue your learning of the most popular Texas Blues scales with the Major Pentatonic and the actual Blues Scale. But don't worry, it's the exact same notes and shapes as the Minor Pentatonic scale but with an added flatted 5th note.
Premium Content Licks 1–17
Not much to say in the next few lessons. Just loads of licks to learn, and I make sure to explain them in-depth so you don't miss a lick (pun intended).
In this last lesson of this module, we'll finish off the rest of the Texas Blues Licks and begin learning the various popular chords many legendary players—past and present—use in to get their signature sound.
We begin this module by moving from the Major Chords to the Minor Chords. The module ends with some invaluable advice and examples of how legendary Texas Blues players create signature rhythms in many recognizable songs.
We've come to the end of the course, but not the end of your education! Here are some final tips and recommendations to help you finish this journey—and start your next guitar adventure—strong.
I created this ebook some time after creating the actual course. I recently found it on my hard drive collecting dust, so I dusted it off and decided it would serve people better as a bonus for this course. Enjoy!
